I am very happy to have just completed my first year as a registered marriage celebrant in Tropical North Queensland, without a doubt one of Australia’s best wedding destinations!  I must say, I have loved every minute of it.  It really is such a pleasure and personal privilege to be able to officiate and oversee what is one of the most special days in a couple’s lifetime, in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

I completed my Certificate IV in Celebrancy with Rose Training Institute in 2019 and I am registered with the Attorney General as a Civil Marriage Celebrant.

I am also an experienced professional singer, DJ and Master of Ceremonies with a background in acting and musical theatre so I bring many years of professional entertainment skills to Cairns events and ceremonies, making me an engaging, vibrant and modern Cairns celebrant with a passion for people and performance.

As a result, there are a wide range of services and options I can offer my couples; whether you would like to have me as your Cairns marriage celebrant only, play your pre-recorded ceremony music and assist with wedding music selections, or also have me “sing you down the aisle” accompanied by my live acoustic guitarist, there are many specialized and unique services that I can offer you to personalize your big day that your guests are unlikely to have ever seen before! (Or heard for that matter… as all ceremonies are delivered in my “exotic” Canadian accent! )

I can also provide Live Music, DJ Entertainment and MC services during your cocktail hour and throughout the duration of your reception giving you many, many options to make your special day unforgettable from start to finish.

As a celebrant, I recently had the opportunity to visit Cairns Secret Garden Wedding Venue, a private and exclusive garden location on a stunning private acreage in Brinsmead. My clients chose this venue because they were after something a little bit different and unique that they hadn’t seen before.

A beautiful and secluded alcove with a lush rainforest backdrop, this is an ideal venue if you are looking for somewhere private, tropical and romantic.

There are two main vantage points for your ceremony backdrop, a beautiful wooden deck with a large permanent arbor that can be decorated to your theme; and on the on the opposite side, the shade of the large canopy of a Cassia tree.

There is access to power on both sides, a great bonus if your celebrant would like to plug in their PA system or if you have live musicians that also require power.
